In a constellation of timid, inept objects, Gutter- Gargoyle (2019), a hybrid gutter/architectural gargoyle with the features of some underwater creature is conceived as index that guide the viewer’s gaze. Composed of double and even triple identities, the work becomes a “chimeras” that despite being clumsy and grotesque is capable of triggering an anti- narration and alternative model of using space, of observing and understanding works.
