“The image in this lithograph is from a series in 2016. I was gesturing to the vast canon of European royalty painting by blending the epicene the banal in painted images of gay men and their dogs. This combination quotes the pageantry of that history – their rich garb and over-the-top landscapes – and fun so doing, elevates queer bodies from second class, to royal class.” Danny Ferrell

Danny Ferrell’s solo exhibition ‘’Storms and Saints’’ will take place from Thursday June 24, 2021 at the Gallery PACT in Paris until July 31 , 2021. The lithograph will be released on June 24, 2021, at 6pm CEST, marking the opening of the exhibition.
